Former Viper Defenceman Booth Suspended:

Former Vernon Vipers defenceman Ryley Booth has been suspended for his blow to the head on Vipers forward-captain Colton McCarthy during Wednesday night's Vipers-Silverbacks game. Booth was given five minutes and a game misconduct in the 1st period after crosschecking McCarthy in the face-mouth. Salmon Arm went on to win the game 6-2.

Booth played one game as an afiliated player "AP" with the Vipers during the 2013-14 season before playing with the Vipers last year. Booth was traded to Salmon Arm on October 28th 2014 for future considerations. In 9 games with the Vipers Booth collected (1-goal-2-assists-3-points).
