The Merritt Centennials make their first of four visits to Kal Tire Place this season. The Centennials last win in Vernon was a 1-0 victory on October 26th 2013. Since the 2003-04 regular season Merritt is 10-28-1 in Vernon. The Centennials are coming off a 4-3 victory over the visiting Prince George Spruce Kings Thursday. Tonight is the second game of three straight for the Cents who host Vernon Saturday. Joe Martin takes over as the new Head Coach-GM this season after long time coach-gm Luke Pierce left for the Western Hockey League's Kootenay Ice.
