The defending Interior Division Conference Champion Vernon Vipers return home after a two game road trip lost in West Kelowna on Friday but finished the trip Saturday with a 4-0 victory in Langley.  Tonight is the fourth meeting of the season between these two teams as Vernon has won three of their last five and are 6-2-1-1 in their last ten.  Vernon sits in 3rd place tied in points with Merritt are six points up on Salmon Arm & Trail are only two points back of West Kelowna.  Since a 5-3 win over Merritt on November 1st the Vipers went 5-2-1-1

Lets take a look at the Merritt Centennials:

The Merritt Centennials make their third visit of the season to Kal Tire Place.  The Centennials are coming off a 5-3 loss Saturday to the visiting Penticton Vees.  Merritt lost both games to the Vees in a home and home series last weekend have won three of their last five and are 5-4-0-1 in their last ten games.  The Centennials sit in 4th place in the Interior Division are tied in points with Vernon are six points up on Trail & Salmon Arm and two points back of West Kelowna.  Merritt has lost three straight in Vernon are facing the Vipers for a second time this month.  The Cents fell 5-3 in Vernon on November 1st will host the Vipers on December 19th.  The Centennials last win in Vernon was a 1-0 victory on Saturday, October 26th 2013.  Since losing to Vernon on the 1st of the month the Centennials went 5-3-0-1 

John Schiavo (15-9-24) leads the Centennials in goals with ten and shares the team lead in points with Diego Cuglietta (10-14-24) with twenty four each.
