Lets take a look at the Vernon Vipers:

The defending Interior Division Conference Champion Vernon Vipers are coming off a 1-0 loss in Penticton Saturday host the Merritt Centennials for a second time within a week.  The Vipers defeated the Centennials 4-2 last weekend will meet again  in Vernon on the 26th.  Vernon sits 5th place in the Interior Division one point back of Trail and three back of Merritt & West Kelowna.  Tonight is the first game of a mini two game home stand as the Vipers will play three of their next four games on home ice.  Vernon has won four of their last five home games.  Liam Finlay will make his Viper debut tonight after coming over in a trade with the Penticton Vees on Tuesday.  The Vipers have won five of their last seven games.  November will be a busy month for Vernon who plays five games in the next nine days. 

Thomas Aldworth (8-3-11) leads the team in goals with eight while Aldworth & Anthony Latina (6-5-11) share the team lead the in points with eleven

Lets take a look at the Merritt Centennials:

The Merritt Centennials make their second visit of the season to Kal Tire Place within a week.  The Cents fell 4-2 in Vernon on the 24th are coming off a 7-5 loss in Trail on Halloween.  Since losing to the Vipers last weekend Merritt has gone 2-1 on their last three games with wins over Powell River & Chilliwack and the loss last night in Trail.  The Centennials have won three of their last five games and have five wins in their last ten games.  Merritt has lost four straight away from home are playing game two of a three game road trip.  The Cents sit in 2nd place are two points up on Trail and only three points up on Vernon. 

John Schiavo (10-6-16) leads the Centennials in goals with ten while Gavin Gould (5-13-18) leads the team lead in points with eighteen
