Oilers Trade Former Vipers Goaltender Fordyce To MJHL:

The Alberta Junior Hockey Leagues Okotoks Oilers have traded former Vernon Vipers goaltender Devon Fordyce to the Manitoba Junior Hockey League OCN Blizzard.

No official press release from either team but the trade has been posted on both league's transaction page on the league website.

The Vipers acquired Fordyce in a trade with the Surrey Eagles.  On June 9th 2014 Fordyce was listed on the Vipers roster with no official press release from either team.  On June 12th 2014 the Eagles announced the official trade.  Vernon sent forward Demico Hannoun & defenceman Ben Butcher to the Eagles to complete the trade for forward Brett Mulcahy from last season.  On January 6th 2014 the Vipers acquired forward Brett Mulcahy & future considerations from Surrey for forward Chase McMurphy & future considerations.  Hannoun & Butcher are the future considerations going to Surrey while Fordyce was the future considerations coming back to Vernon. 

Fordyce never played a game with the Vipers would be traded to the Alberta Junior Hockey League Okotoks Oilers on June 25th 2014 for future considerations.
