The defending Interior Division Conference Champion Vernon Vipers are coming off a 3-1 loss to the visiting Penticton Vees last night snapped a three game winning streak.  Tonight is the third meeting of the season between the Vipers & Warriors as Vernon makes their second of four visits to Royal Le Page Place.  The Vipers defeated West Kelowna in the Warriors home opener 4-1 on September 26th have just two wins in their last ten games in West Kelowna.  Vernon is the second lowest scoring team in the BCHL with twenty five goals, onlt two goals up on Surrey who sits last in scoring.

Lets take a look at the West Kelowna Warriors:

The West Kelowna Warriors are coming off a 5-4 overtime loss in Merritt Friday have lost three straight.  West Kelowna is tied with Vernon for 3rd place are one point up on Trail & Salmon Arm and are only a point back of 2nd place Merritt.  Following tonight's game the Warriors hit the road for a four game road trip.  The Warriors split a home and home series with the Vipers in late September shutting out the Vipers in Vernon 4-0 on the 27th.  The Warriors have won eight of their last ten home games with Vernon.  Former Vernon Vipers forward Michael Roberts who started the season with the Warriors is no longer listed on the teams roster.  No word on where the Vernon native has landed.  The Warriors recently added 20 yr old forward Andrew Johnson who was recently let go by the WHL Swift Current Broncos.  Johnson collected 102 pts in 263 games with Swift Current, Moose Jaw & Seattle.  Johnson made his Warriors debut in last night's loss to the Merritt Centennials. 

Warriors Head Coach-GM Rylan Ferster played one season in Vernon (1989-90) with the Centennial Cup Champion Vernon Lakers.
