The defending Interior Division Pennant Winning Penticton Vees are making their second visit to Kal Tire Place. The Vees lost 5-3 in exhibition action here in Vernon on August 30th. Tonight is the first of three regular season visits to Vernon. These two teams met in last year's BCHL Playoffs as Penticton lost in seven games in the Interior Division Finals to the Vernon Vipers. Penticton has eight players coming back this season from last years squad have also brought on a new Assistant Coach behind the bench. The Vees are coming off a 4-0 shutout victory in West Kelowna last weekend will wrap up the two game road trip tonight in Vernon. Penticton has won five straight sit atop the BCHL standings with a league best record of 8-1. Penticton's lone loss of the season was a 5-0 loss in Merritt on September 27th. The Vees have outscored their opponents 13-5 in the last three games.
Demico Hannoun played 47 games in Vernon last season collecting (15-29-44) in his only season with the Vipers before being traded to Surrey in the off season. Hannoun is third in team scoring with ten points (6-4-10).
Tyson Jost (6-7-13) leads the Vees in goals with six and is tied in points with Lewis Zerter-Gossage (5-8-13) with thirteen each
