Boston Bruins Send Former Vipers Forward Kane To AHL:

The Boston Bruins have released former Vernon Vipers forward
Cory Kane from Training camp.  The Bruins sent Kane to the American Hockey League (AHL) Providence Bruins Training camp.

Kane finished four years at Ferris State University (2010-2014) before signing a PTO (player tryout) contract with the American Hockey League (AHL) Providence Bruins on April, 7th 2014. In 4 games last season with the Bruins Kane registered (0-goals-1-assist-1-point).  Kane played two years in Vernon (2008-2010) In 119 regular season games with the Vipers Kane collected (42-goals-55-assists-97-points).

BOSTON, MA – Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today, September 25, that the following 10 players have been released from the Boston Bruins training camp and will join the Providence Bruins training camp: Andrew Ammon, Tommy Cross (subject to clearing waivers), Steve Eminger, Rob Flick, Cory Kane, Adam Morrison, Frankie Simonelli, Ethan Werek, Ben Youds, Mike Young.
