Vipers welcome 3 players for upcoming season

The Vernon Vipers Hockey Club is excited to announce the commitment of 3 players for the upcoming season. Trevor Fidler, Liam Feeney, and Ayden McDonald have all committed to play for the 2014/2015 season.
Fidler, a native of Watertown MA, played last season for the South Shore Kings of the USPHL. Before that he played for Dexter Prep School and put up some very impressive offensive numbers. “Trevor is a player I have been recruiting for a couple years. I believe he will be able to come in and make an immediate impact on our lineup. He plays a lot bigger than his size and has the ability to put up great numbers in our league” says Jason Williamson.
Feeney, who hails from Foxboro MA, played last season for Dexter Prep School as well. Liam is a very steady defenseman and was the Captain of his team last season. Liam was a teammate with former Viper Mark Hamilton and the future Viper Trevor Fidler. “Liam is very solid in all aspects of the game. He will be able to log minutes in all situations and will be a very reliable player for us.”
McDonald, from Langley BC, played last season for the Richmond Sockeyes of the PIJHL. Ayden is a big power forward that has knack for scoring goals. He was a big part of his team that was knocked off in the league final. “Ayden will bring good size to our lineup. He was a player I got to watch several times last season and got better each time I saw him play. He has a very bright future with us.”
