The 2013 Kelly Cup Champion East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) Reading Royals have released former Vernon Vipers forward Ryan Santana. Santana was released on March 6th 2014 No official press release from the Royals but the transaction was posted on the transactions page on the ECHL website. In 12 games with Reading Santana went pointless. Santana is now eligible for waivers and can be claimed off waivers by another ECHL team. Santana finished his fourth and final year at Boston University last year before signing with the Royals on August 6th 2013.
