Game Preview: BCHL Fred Page Cup Finals: Game 4: Vernon @ Coquitlam:

Tonight is the seventh meeting of the season (regular season & playoffs) between the Vipers & Express. The regular season series was tied 1-1 while the Vipers won the only playoff game during the Round Robin playoff Tournament. Coquitlam leads the Fred Page Cup Finals 3-0. Lets take a look at the Vernon Vipers:

The Vernon Vipers have their backs against the wall, with their season on the line make their third visit of the season (regular season and playoffs) to the Poirier Sports and Leisure Centre are down 3-0 in the Fred Page Cup Finals.  The Vipers are coming off a tough 3-2 overtime loss in Game 3 last night need a win tonight to keep their season going.  Vernon has lost three straight and are 0-2 in Coquitlam this season (Regular Season & Playoffs).

Vernon’s Junior Hockey Team’s have now made the BCHL League Finals 19 times since 1970 with a record of 12-6.

Lets take a look at the Coquitlam Express:

The Coquitlam Express have a chance to win their first Fred Page Cup-League Championship in team history tonight are riding a five game winning streak after a 3-2 OT win in Game 3.  The Burnaby Express was the only Express team to win a League Championship back in 2006 when Burnaby won the 2006 RBC Cup.  The Express are very strong at home with a 7-1 home record in these playoffs.  Coquitlam has outscored the visiting team 29-20 at home.
