The Vipers won the last meeting between these two teams 4-3 in Vernon on February 22nd 2014. Lets take a look at the Vernon Vipers:

The Vernon Vipers visit the South Okanagan Events Centre for a fourth time this season where they have just one win.  The Vipers are coming off a 5-0 victory over the West Kelowna Warriors Tuesday wich eliminated West Kelowna from the playoffs as Vernon took the Interior Division Semi-Final in six games.  The Vipers advanced to the Interior Division Finals vs the Penticton Vees who finished eight points ahead of the Vipers in the regular season.  The Vipers come into tonight's game winning the previous two games over the Vees once at home and once in the Peach City.  Vernon and Penticton meet for a 21st time come playoffs with Vernon winning eleven playoff matchups over Penticton.          

Brett Mulcahy (8-1-9) leads the Vipers in playoff goals with eight while Brendan Persley (4-6-10) leads the Vipers in playoff points with ten.

The Penticton Vees are coming off a 4-3 win over the Merritt Centennials Saturday took all four games over Merritt to advance to the Division Final.  Since the 2001 playoffs the Vipers have won six of the last seven playoff series with the Vees.  Penticton is looking to advance to the League Final for a third straight season.  The Vees are the second highest scoring team in the playoffs with twenty three goals while giving up a league low in these playoffs with just ten goals.  The Vees have won both home games in the playoffs while won four straight on home ice going back to the regular season.
