Lets take a look at the Vernon Vipers:

The Vernon Vipers return home after winning both games on their two game road trip with wins in Trail & Penticton.  The Vipers are coming off a 2-1 victory in Penticton last night have moved to within five points of 2nd place West Kelowna.  Vernon sits in 3rd place six points back of 1st place Penticton and are five points up on 4th place Merritt and now eight points up on 5th place Salmon Arm.  Tonight is the first of a three game home stand in the Vipers three final home games of the regular season.  The Vipers have won three of their last five games and are 5-2-1-2 in their last ten games.  Tonight is the second game between these two teams in the last two weeks after the Vipers come away with a 6-2 win in West Kelowna on February 1st.  The Vipers have just one loss in their last ten home games vs the Warriors have just four wins in their last ten games vs West Kelowna.

The West Kelowna Warriors make their fourth and final visit of the regular season to Kal Tire Place tonight are coming off a 8-5 loss to the visiting Victoria Grizzlies last night.  West Kelowna has just one win in their last thirteen games in Vernon have won three of their last five games and are 5-2-1-2 in their last ten games.  The Warriors last win in Vernon was a 5-3 win on Saturday, February 9th 2013.  The Warriors sit in 2nd place one point back of Division leading Penticton and are five points up on 3rd place Vernon.  West Kelowna has just four regulation losses on the road has won seven of their last ten games away from home.  The Warriors are the second highest scoring team in the league behind Coquitlam with 196 goals.
