The Vernon Vipers make their third and final visit of the regular season to the South Okanagan Events Centre are playing game two of a two game road trip. The Vipers snapped a two game losing streak after a 7-3 win in Trail Wednesday. The Vipers come into tonight's game with just six games remaining the regular season. Vernon sits in 3rd place are seven points back of 2nd place West Kelowna and eight points back of Division leading Penticton. The Vipers are five points up on 4th place Merritt and six points up on 5th place Salmon Arm. Vernon has won three of their last five games and are 4-3-1-2 in their last ten games. The Penticton Vees begin a two game home stand are riding a three game winning streak after a 3-0 victory in Surrey over the weekend. The Vees come into tonight's game with just seven games remaining in the regular season. Penticton with four home games left on the schedule host the Vipers for a final time this season. Since a 6-1 win over Vernon back on January 24th the Vees have gone 4-2. The Vees sit in top spot in the Interior Division just one point up on 2nd place West Kelowna. Penticton has won three of their last five games and are 5-4-0-1 in their last ten games. The Vees are one of three teams with just five regulation losses at home also have the leagues best goals against, giving up just 120 goals this season.
