The Vernon Vipers make their fourth visit of the season to the Shaw Centre are coming off a 4-1 win over the Alberni Valley Bulldogs Saturday.  Vernon snaps a two game losing streak is playing their third game in three days and fourth game in six days.  The Vipers sit in 3rd plave are five points up on 4th place Merritt and Salmon Arm and one point back of 2nd place West Kelowna.  The Vipers have struggled in January with just two wins in their last five games and are 4-6-0-0 in their last ten games.  The Vipers have just three wins in their last ten games in Salmon Arm.

The Salmon Arm Silverbacks return home after a 3-2 overtime victory in Penticton Saturday night.  The Silverbacks snapped a four game losing streak with the win last night have just one win in their last five games and are 3-6-0-1 in their last ten games.  Salmon Arm is tied with Merritt for 4th place are five points back of 3rd place Vernon.  Today is the first of a two game home stand where the Silverbacks will play four of their next five games.  The Silverbacks won the last meeting between these two teams with a 4-2 win at home on December 14th 2013.
