Lets take a look at the Vernon Vipers:

The Vernon Vipers return home after a two game road trip where they lost both games in Merritt and West Kelowna.  The Vipers are coming off a 5-3 loss in West Kelowna Friday are playing their second game of a three game weekend.  Vernon fell three points back of 2nd place West Kelowna are just four points up on 4th place Merritt.  The Vipers have won just twice in their last five games are 4-6-0-0 in their last ten games.  Viper fans are seeing a Island or Mainland Division team for the fourth time in their last five home games.  Defenceman Jared Wilson faces his former team for the second time this season while D-man Ryan Renz also started his Junior hockey career with the Bulldogs playing his first two seasons in Alberni Valley will see his former club for the first time this season.  Defenceman Josh Bryan is five games away from career game #200  Demico Hannoun will play career game #130 tonight while forward Brendan Persley is two games away from career game #120

The Alberni Valley Bulldogs make their first and only visit of the regular season to Kal Tire Place are riding a two game winning streak.  Alberni Valley is coming off a 4-2 win in Salmon Arm last night, won the home and home series sweeping both games over the Silverbacks.  Tonight is the fourth game of a five game road trip where the Bulldogs have just five wins away from home.  Alberni Valley has won three of their last five games and are 5-3-0-2 in their last ten games.  Alberni Valley sits in 5th place in the Island Division one point back of 4th place Cowichan Valley.  Forward Craig Martin will face his former team for the second time this season after coming over in a trade with the Vipers in October.

Tryg Strand (14-16-30) leads the Bulldogs in goals with fourteen while Hunter Stewart (9-27-36) leads the Bulldogs in points with thirty six.
