The Vernon Vipers are coming off a 2-1 victory over the visiting Salmon Arm Silverbacks Friday night moving them into a 3rd place tie with the Penticton Vees.  Tonight is the Vipers third game of a current five game home stand.  The Vipers have won five of their last seven home games.  Vernon is 2-3 in their last five games went 6-4 in the month of October.  The Vipers are one point back of Merritt for 2nd place and just two points back of West Kelowna for tops in the Interior Division.

The Victoria Grizzlies make their first and only visit to Kal Tire Place this season.  The Grizzlies come in to today's game snapping their losing streak with a 3-2 win in Salmon Arm last night.  Today is the fourth game of a current five game road trip.  The Grizzlies have won four of their last six road games.  Victoria has lost just three games away from home (7-3-1-1) have won three of their last five games overall.  The Grizzlies sit two points up on 3rd place Cowichan Valley and are six points back of league leading Powell River.
