Lets take a look at the Vernon Vipers:

The Vernon Vipers make their first visit of the season to the Cominco Arena are coming off a 5-2 loss in Penticton Wednesday night.  Tonight is the second game of a two game road trip before hosting the West Kelowna Warriors tomorrow night.  The Vipers sit tied with Merritt for 2nd place are just two points up on Salmon Arm and West Kelowna while only a single point back of Division leading Penticton.  Vernon comes into tonight's game having lost just once in their last five games are 5-2-1-2 in their last ten games.

Lets take a look at the Trail Smoke Eaters:

The Trail Smoke Eaters are coming off a 3-2 double overtime win over the visiting Salmon Arm Silverbacks Saturday night come into tonight's game riding a two game winning streak.  Tonight is the Smoke Eaters third game of a current four game home stand.  Trail sits in last spot in the Interior Division has won three of their last five games and gone 3-6-1-0 in their last ten games.  The Smokies lost 6-3 in Vernon back on October 15th will play the Vipers twice in two weeks.  The Smoke Eaters are the lowest scoring team with just 63 goals on the season have also struggled keeping the puck out of the net, giving up 105 goals.  Trail has been busy on the trade front making three deals within the last week.
