A huge upset win for the Vipers last night! Wow Im shocked! Going into last night's game I didnt give the Vipers much luck, but give the boys credit, upsetting the leagues best and in Powell River, a tough rink to get a win in.
ReplyDeleteFive wins in a row has now moved the Vipers from last place just a few weeks ago into a 2nd place tie with the West Kelowna Warriors. First five game winning streak since the 2010-2011 season.
Vernon plays in Nanaimo tonight for the second game of a four game road trip. Tonight and tomorrow are games where the Vipers have a good chance at winning, if your looking at the standings. The Clippers are in 4th place, a game below 500 and have just two wins in their last seven games. The Bulldogs are in last place with just one win on the season. Both these teams arnt going to roll over and give the Vipers the two points but looking at the standings-stats, these are two games Vernon has a good chance at coming away with four points.
Lets keep it going boys! Go Vipers Go!
