  1. A tough and dissapointing loss in Nanaimo tonight for the Vipers. It looked like Vernon come out strong and played very well in the opening period but couldnt capitalize on three 1st period powerplays before the Clippers took the game over in the 2nd and 3rd periods. Both goaltenders played very well making several big saves.

The Clippers snapped Vernon's five game winning streak as well as a seven game losing streak against the Vipers going back to the 2009-10 season.

Coming into tonight's game this was a game I thought the Vipers could win, as Nanaimo had just two wins in their last seven games and was a game below 500. Lets hope the Vipers can re-group and come away with a must win in Alberni Valley tomorrow.

    Go Vipers Go!
