Game Preview: Chilliwack @ Vernon:

Chilliwack (1-6-1-0) @ Vernon (4-4-1-2) 7pm start

Tonight is the second game of three meetings between the Vipers & Chiefs. Both teams tied 1-1 back in early September in Chilliwack at the BCHL Showcase.

Lets take a look at the Vernon Vipers:

The Vipers return home after going 1-1 on a two game road trip last weekend.  Vernon lost 3-0m in Prince George Friday before coming from behind in Salmon Arm with a 3-2 victory.  Tonight is the first game of a home and home series between the Vipers and Chiefs.  The Vipers sit in 4th place in the Interior Division play two of the next three games at home before hitting the road for a four game road trip.  Newly aquired Michael Stiliadis should be in the Vipers lineup tonight.    

Mason Blacklock (8-4-12) leads the Vipers in goals with eight and in points with twelve.

Lets take a look at the Chilliwack Chiefs:

The Chilliwack Chiefs make their first and only visit of the season to Kal Tire Place come into tonight's game riding a four game losing streak and sit last in the BCHL with just one win on the season.  The Chiefs play four of their next five games away from home have scored a league low 14 goals.  The Chiefs last win in Vernon was a 5-4 victory on Saturday, November 5th 2010  Chilliwack and Vernon battled to a 1-1 tie in early September in Chilliwack at the BCHL Showcase in the first meeting of the season between these two teams.  

Kurt Black (3-1-4) leads the Chiefs in goals with three and in points with four.
