Former Vernon Viper Morse Retires:

The West Kelowna Warriors have announced that former VernonVipers defenceman Spencer Morse has retired.

Last week the Warriors suspended Morse for leaving the team after playing just one game.

The Vipers signed Morse on September, 13th after being cut by the WHL Red Deer Rebels before trading him to West Kelowna after just four games on September, 25th for future considerations. Morse went pointless in four games with the Vipers.

Rylan Ferster has told me that Spencer Morse has retired from Junior Hockey.  From what I understand, the 18 year-old has just decided it’s time to do some other things with his life.  The news came as bit of a surprise to the coaching staff, who acquired the Calgary native only a week earlier.  However, I know the rest of the organization joins me in wishing Spencer the best in his future endeavors.
