Former Vernon Lakers Captain Ramsay Collects 300th Coaching Victory:

Former Vernon Lakers captain & current Head Coach-GM of the CHL Tulsa Oilers Bruce Ramsay picked up his 300th career coaching victory.  Ramsay is in his fourth season with the Tulsa Oilers. Tulsa is in last place in the Berry Conference with a record of 12-26-3.  Ramsay played one season in Vernon helping the 1989-90 Vernon Lakers win their first Centennial Cup in a thrilling 6-5 overtime win over the highly favorite New Westminster Royals.

300 Club:  Friday’s win at Wichita was the 300th victory of Bruce Ramsay’s coaching career.  The 43-year old made his head coaching debut in 2002 for the Winston-Salem Parrots of the Atlantic Coast Hockey League and over the last decade, Ramsay has coached four teams in four different leagues.  The Dryden, Ontario native has a career winning percentage of .552.  In three and a half seasons behind the Oilers bench, Ramsay has compiled a record of 103-107-24.
