Tambellini helps Vipers to two wins, earns first BCHL POW honour

Vernon Vipers forward Adam Tambellini has been named the Gongshow BCHL Player of the week for the week ending Nov. 4, the league announced Monday.

Tambellini helped the Vipers to a pair of wins and collected six points in the process. The Edmonton native had two goals in a 4-3 win over the Nanaimo Clippers and followed that up with a goal and three assists in a 9-2 victory over the Trail Smoke Eaters.

The 6-foot-4, 180-pound forward continues to lead Vernon in scoring with 22 points in 18 games for the season and also jumped into the top-10 in league scoring.
