The Vipers are coming off a 2-1 double overtime loss to the visiting Trail Smoke Eaters last night ended a three game losing streak.  Tonight is the final game for the Vipers annual Parents weekend & a two game home stand before hitting the road for a four game road trip.  After tonight the Vipers play five of their next six on the road.  Vernon now in 5th spot sits one point back of 4th place Trail and are just three points up on 6th place Salmon Arm.  The Vipers have won three of their last four games.

Lets take a look at the Surrey Eagles:

The Surrey Eagles make their first and only visit of the regular season to the Wesbild Centre tonight.  This is the first visit to Vernon for Surrey since a 2-1 overtime loss back on Sunday, December 5th 2010 Tonight is the second game of a two game road trip as the Eagles are riding a four game winning streak.  Since a 5-3 victory over the Vipers at home back on October 19th the Eagles have gone 6-1.  Surrey is 8-2 in their last ten games.  The Eagles sit just two points up on Coquitlam and only three points back of Division leading Chilliwack.
