Eviston & Guiltinan Commit To Vipers:

The Vernon Vipers hockey club is pleased to announce that 20 year old defenseman Sean Robertson has committed to attend Merrimack College for the upcoming 2012-2013 hockey season.

Merrimack College is located is Massachusetts and plays in Hockey East. Robertson will join Mike Collins and Kyle Bigos as former Vipers on the current Merrimack roster.  He also adds to a large list of former BCHL players currently on the roster.

The Vernon Vipers would like to congratulate Sean on this recent accomplishment and would like to wish him continued success in the future.

The Vipers would also like to announce that Pearce Eviston has committed to play in Vernon for the upcoming season. Pearce has spent the last two seasons with Portland of the WHL. Eviston will bring a lot of experience to the Vipers line-up and will add size and scoring to the roster.

The Vipers would also like to announce the commitment of defenseman Kevin Guiltinan to the line-up.  Guiltinan came to the Vipers spring camp and greatly impressed. Kevin will add size, grit, and competitiveness to the Vipers D core. He has drawn the attention of many NCAA scouts already and will be a player to watch to start the season.

The Vernon Vipers have completed the futures trade that brought Sean Robertson to Vernon.  Turner Lawson has been moved to Victoria to complete the futures.  The Vernon Vipers would like to wish Turner the best of luck and thank him for his efforts in Vernon. Turner has a bright future in the BCHL.
