Three Former Vipers Fall Short Of Fred Page Cup Finals:

Three former Vernon Vipers fell short of moving on to the BCHL League Finals after Merritt Centennials Head Coach-GM, Luke Pierce, goaltender, Tyler Steel and the Merritt Centennials fell 6-2 in Game 5 last night in Penticton, where the Vees will move in to the Fred Page Cup after taking the series 4-1.

Luke Pierce played one season in Vernon (2003-2004) In 53 regular season games with the Vipers Pierce collected (7-21-28).

Tyler Steel attended the Vipers training camp last year before being released after the exibition season. Steel then signed with Merritt to start the BCHL regular season.

Forward, Alex Hagen and the Surrey Eagles fell 3-0 in Powell River last night, where the Kings will move on to the League Finals winning the series in five games.

Alex Hagen started his rookie season with the Vipers this year before being traded to Surrey on November, 29th for future considerations.
