Former Vernon Viper Voth Named SJHL Goaltender Of The Week:

Former Vernon Vipers goaltender, Blake Voth has been named the SJHL goaltender of the week. Voth and the Melville Millionaires are in the Conference Finals vs Weyburn after knocking off the Yorkton Terriers in five games in the opening round of the SJHL Playoffs. The series is tied 2-2 after the Mills 4-3 double overtime win in Game 4 last night. Voth made 43 saves in the double OT win. Games 5 & 6 go Friday & Saturday night.

Voth played two seasons in Vernon (2009-2011) was traded on May 26th 2011 to the SJHL Battlefords Stars as part of the future considerations in the trade that sent Dane Muench to the Vipers on last years trade deadline. Voth never played with the North Stars, playing one game in the USHL before the North Stars traded Voth to Melville.

Blake Voth, Melville Millionaires

Voth began the series against Weyburn by posting a win and a loss, but was impressive in compiling a 1.52-GAA and a .954-SPCT.
