(Game Preview) Chilliwack @ Vernon:

Chilliwack (2-0-0-0) @ Vernon (5-0-0-0) 7pm start

After fifteen seasons in the BCHL the Quesnel Millionaires moved to Chilliwack. On May 9, 2011, the BCHL approved the sale of the Quesnel Millionaires to the Chiefs Development Group in Chilliwack, BC. The former Chiefs franchise was renamed the Langley Rivermen in preparation for the Millionaires' return to Chilliwack. The Chiefs left the BCHL after the 2005-06 season for Langley after the Hornets moved to Westside becoming the Warriors, this bringing in the WHL Bruins to Chilliwack.

Tonight one of the BCHL's greatest rivalries renews as the Chilliwack Chiefs visit the Vernon Vipers for the first time since February 4th 2006. A longtime rivalry going back to the early 90s the Chiefs who are 2-0 to start the season, come into Vernon tonight playing their first game away from home in their first of a two game road trip. The Vipers who sit atop the Interior Conference with a 5-0 record are playing their final game of a three game home stand, before hitting the road for a mini three game road trip. Both these same two teams will meet up again next weekend in Chilliwack.
