Key’s and Notes to tonight’s game:

-Tonight’s a must win for the Vipers as they don’t want to head home for game 5 down 3-1 in the series

-Who will get the start in goal tonight?

-The Vipers need to stick to their game plan and keep things simple

-Vernon needs to play a full 60 minutes

-Bryce Kakoske faces his former team in these playoffs

-Vernon needs to get their powerplay clicking and capitalize on their chances

-Kirby Halcrow is 2-5 in his career vs. Westside during the regular season & playoffs

-Vernon needs to get more traffic in front of Kevin Boyle

-The Vipers need to play physical and get the forecheck going down low, the Vipers are a much better club when they get the defence turned around and work the cycle

-Vernon is 0-2 in these playoffs when giving up the games first goal

-Blake Voth is 4-0-1-1 in his career vs. Westside during the regular season and 1-1 vs. the Warriors during these playoffs

-Getting off to a good start and a strong finish is key for Vernon

-The Vipers need to take the crowd out of the game early and play their game, don’t let Westside dictate the outcome of tonights game

-Who ever gets the start between the pipes for the Vipers tonight, needs to be solid and come up with a few big saves when needed to give Vernon a chance to win and give the guys in front of them a little confidence

-The Vipers are 1-0 in these playoffs when scoring first

-Experience and leadership is key for any team come playoff time, the Vipers seven returning players from last years RBC Cup team will have to lead the way and use their experience and leadership through these playoffs

-Vernon has to stay disaplined and stay out of the penalty box. The Vipers cant allow Westside to try and get under their skin

-The Vipers have to try and shutdown the Warriors top offensive players
