Former Vernon Laker Metropolit Adds Goal & Assist In 6-1 Canada Victory:

Former Vernon Lakers forward, Glen Metropolit collected one goal and one assist this afternoon, in Canada's 6-1 victory over Spartak Moscow at the 2010 Spengler Cup in DAVOS, Switzerland.

Metropolit or as Vernon fans know him as "Metro" played one season with the Vernon Lakers back in 1994-95 before joining the IHL Atlanta Knights the following season. Metro played several years in the IHL, ECHL and AHL before finally signing a contract with the NHL Washington Capitals back in 1999. Metropolit played with Washington twice, Tampa Bay, Atlanta, St. Louis, Boston, Philadelphia and Montreal before signing with Switzerland's National League A for EV Zug over the summer.
