Former Vernon Vipers defenceman, Cameron Brodie has signed with the ECHL Stockton Thunder. Brodie played one season in Vernon (2008-09) helping the Vipers win the 2009 Royal Bank Cup. Brodie played last year with the UBC Mens Hockey team before getting a tryout with the NHL San Jose Sharks this past September. Brodie played two exhibition games with the Sharks in Penticton at the young stars tournament, before being sent down to the AHL Worcester Sharks. Brodie then signed as a free agent with the ECHL Stockton Thunder back on October, 4th 2010.
