Key’s and Notes to tonight’s game:

-After a convincing 5-0 victory over the first place Penticton Vees last night, Vernon cant come into tonights game over confident and take the 6th place Millionaires too lightly

-In past years the Vipers havnt played or done that well on parents weekend. Let’s hope the Vipers don’t try and do too much, to impress their parents & stick to tonights game plan

-Vernon is going to have to try and get lots of pucks and traffic towards Kirby Halcrow. Halcrow has always played the Vipers well

-Vernon needs to play a full 60 minutes and cant play down to the level of the Mills

-Patrick McGillis has four goals in his last four games

-The Vipers have outscored their opponents 8-1 in their last two games

-Vernon has won two straight at home after struggling at the Wesbild Centre to start the season

Key’s and Notes to tonight’s game:

-The Millionaires last win against the Vipers was way back during the 2004-05 season when Quesnel defeated Vernon 3-1 in Quesnel back on Friday, November 26th 2004. Since then the Millionaires have just two ties in their last 29 games vs. Vernon. Before picking up a 1-1 tie with Vernon back on October 6th of this year Quesnel had lost 26 straight to the Vipers

-In four career regular season games vs. Vernon Kirby Halcrow is 0-3-1 vs. the Vipers. Halcrow has stopped 138 out of 152 Vernon shots

-After falling 7-3 in Salmon Arm last night, what kind of team will the Vipers see from Quesnel tonight?

-The Mills need to get off to a good start and cant fall behind early

-Specialty teams will be key for both teams

-If the Mills want a chance to win, they will need to rely on veteran goaltender Kirby Halcrow

-These same two teams will face off against each other next weekend (Friday) in Quesnel

-The Vipers will face the Millionaires three times in the month of October

-Quesnel has just one win on the road this season

Here’s a look at the season series between these two teams:
