Tonight is the first meeting of the season between the defending Royal Bank Cup Champion Vernon Vipers & the Cowichan Valley Capitals. The Vipers come home for one game after returning from a four game road trip wich saw them go 2-2. After tonights game the Vipers head back on the road for an afternoon game in Merritt tomorrow. The Capitals are currently playing their third game of a four game road trip before heading home for two games. The Capitals have started off the trip 0-2 with losses to Trail & Penticton.
