Former Viper Tryout Halikas Traded Back To The AJHL:


Former Vernon Viper tryout forward, Jesse Halikas (91) has been traded back to the AJHL for a second time.

Halikas who was released by the Vernon Vipers late in training camp (2009), landed in Alberni Valley and made the Bulldogs roster for the start of the 2009-10 season, before being traded to the AJHL Lloydminster Bobcats on December 1st 2009. Halikas then ended up with the AJHL Brooks Bandits for the remainder of the AJHL season, before getting traded to the Coquitlam Express over the summer.

Halikas who is from Derby, Vermont was being scouted by the Vipers, was cut from the Vipers training camp two straight years (2008 & 2009).

18-Oct-10 The Coquitlam Express Hockey Club transfers the CJHL playing rights of Jesse Halikas to the Spruce Grove Saints Hockey Club of the AJHL in exchange for future considerations.
