This is posted on the Vipers website:The Vernon Vipers will welcome Vernon product Max Mowat to the ice as the newest Viper when they host the Merritt Centennials tonight at the Wesbild Centre. The 5’10” 186 pound defenseman played last season with the BC Major Midget Okanagan Rockets where he posted 13 goals and 26 assist in 40 games.
Mowat was cut last week by the WHL Kamloops Blazers. The Vipers made room for Mowat after trading rookie defenceman, Bennett Hambrook to the Prince George Spruce Kings Yesterday.
