Former Vernon Vipers forward, Matt Watkins is in his first season with the ECHL Las Vegas Wranglers & the AHL’s San Antonio Rampage. Watkins joined the BCHL Vernon Vipers playing just one season in Vernon (2004-05) before attending four years with the University Of North Dakota. Watkins who was drafted by the NHL Dallas Stars, signed as a free agent with the NHL Phoenix Coyotes last year. This season Watkins has split his duties between the ECHL Las Vegas Wranglers & the AHL San Antonio Rampage this season.
