Vernon Vipers goaltender Graeme Gordon has been named the British Columbia Hockey League's Player of the Week for the week ending March 21st, the league announced Monday.

Gordon finished the week with a 4-0 record while posting three consecutive shutouts in his team's final two games vs. the Quesnel Millionaires and their Interior Conference Finals opener against Penticton. He finished the week with a 0.49 goals-against average and .978 save percentage, stopping 88 of the 90 shots he faced.

After winning back-to-back games to overcome the Millionaires, Graeme backstopped Vernon to a 6-0 win over the second-seeded Vees on Friday night and a 3-2 overtime victory in Game 2 on Saturday. The 20-year old now sports a 5-1 record during the 2010 postseason, complemented by a 1.33 GAA and .936 save-percentage.

The Vees and Vipers are set to resume their Interior Conference Finals on Tuesday night at the South Okanagan Events Centre.
