The Salmon Arm SilverBacks Junior “A” Hockey Club has relieved Matt Hughes from his Head Coach position. A native of Kamloops, Hughes was a SilverBacks Co-Coach for two years before being appointed as the Head Coach at the beginning of the 2009-2010 season. Effective immediately, Rylan Ferster will become the General Manager/Head Coach. The SilverBacks Hockey Club would like to thank Matt for his three year contribution to the organization and wish him success with all of his future endeavors.
