The Vipers looked tired in the 3rd period last night in Westside, will they have enough gas left in the tank to finish off the Eagles this afternoon?
Last night was the Vipers 50th win of the season, something only one other Vernon team has managed to complete. The 1999 Royal Bank Cup Champion Vipers won a league record 52 wins. The 1999 Vipers and 1989-90 New West Royals hold the BCHL record for most wins in a season with 52. The only other two Vernon teams that managed to come close to 50 wins was the 1975-76 Vernon Vikings and the 2002-03 Vernon Vipers, both these two teams won 47 games those years.
Jonathan Milhouse & Dylan Walchuk both need just one goal to hit the 20 goal mark this season.

The last time Surrey played in Vernon was two years ago back on September 26th as back then Andrew Hammond and the Eagles knocked off the Vipers 3-2.
