Persley Makes WHL Debut:

This is posted on the Chilliwack Bruins website:

Sixteen-year-old centre Brendan Persley made his Western Hockey League debut Wednesday night. The Kelowna native was acquired from the Prince Albert Raiders on Dec. 28 in exchange for a 13th round bantam draft pick. Persley played 22 games for the Penticton Lakers of the Kootenay International Junior B Hockey League this season, tallying 12 goals and 30 points.

Persley started the season with the BCHL's Vernon Vipers before being assigned to the KIJHL's Penticton Lakers back on October 15th. Since then Persley has been called up as an "AP" player with the Vipers playing in two games since being assigned with Penticton.
