Cents defenceman Steve Tresierra named to BCHL All Star Team

Merritt, BC - December 11, 2009

The Merritt Centennials are pleased to announce the selection of defenceman Steve Tresierra to the BCHL All Star team.

Tresierra, who is one of three Cents alternate captains this season, is into his second full season in the league and has recorded 16 points through 34 games, including 15 assists, which is second among all Merritt defencemen.

Tresierra, a native of Golden, BC, has quickly developed into an invaluable leader for the Centennials since being acquired from Vernon last January. Through 120 career games, the veteran has amassed 47 career points (6-41).
