Vipers Assign Dorais To Sicamous:

The Vipers have reassigned Dorais, a Vernon product, to the Sicamous Eagles of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League. The 17-year-old forward had two assists and 14 penalty minutes in 10 games with Vernon, but couldn’t find a permanent spot on a deep Vipers roster. “He needs to play to continue to get better,” said Vipers’ head coach Mark Ferner, adding the Vipers have been fortunate with injuries, which has limited Dorais’ ability to get into games. “He’s still going to practise with us whenever possible.”
