Jacksonville Icemen Activate Vipers Alumni Coughlin From Reserve:

The ECHL Jacksonville Icemen have activated former Vernon Vipers forward

Liam Coughlin from reserve.

The ECHL (formerly the East Coast Hockey League) is a minor professional ice hockey league based in Shrewsbury, New Jersey, with teams across the United States and Canada. Competitively, it is a tier below the American Hockey League (AHL). The league serves as a farm system to the AHL and the National Hockey League (NHL).

Coughlin is in his first season with the Jacksonville Icemen. The Icemen signed Coughlin August 14th 2024. In 50 games, Coughlin has (15-goals-16-assists-31-points).

Coughlin played the 2023-24 season with the ECHL Iowa Heartlanders, signing as a free agent August 14th 2023. Coughlin and two teammates were arrested in April 2024. In 47 games last season, Coughlin collected (6-goals-7-assists-13-points). Coughlin played the previous two seasons with the ECHL Worcester Railers.

Coughlin played four seasons at Vermont University from 2015-2019 before signing his first professional contract with the American Hockey League Rockford IceHogs May 19th 2019.

Former Vipers Streek & Singleton Meet In AJHL League Finals:

Former Vernon Vipers forward Carter Streek and the Grande

Prairie Storm will face former Vernon Vipers forward Bowden Singleton and the Calgary Canucks in the Alberta Junior Hockey League Finals. Game 1 goes tonight in Calgary.

Taylor was named to the ECAC Hockey's First-Team All-Conference team & named Best Defensive Defenseman. Taylor was nominated for the 2025 Hobey Baker Memorial Award. In 39 games this season, Taylor collected (9-goals-20-assists-29-points).

Taylor was invited to the Philadelphia Flyers Development Camp in July 2024.

Taylor played three seasons in Vernon with the Vipers from 2018-2021 before leaving for the United States Hockey League Youngstown Phantoms. The Phantoms selected Taylor 31st overall May 28th 2021 in Round 3 in Phase 2 of the Unites States Hockey League Draft. Taylor played the 2021-22 season with the Phantoms before joining Clarkson University in 2022.

McMullin scored at 5:00 of the second overtime, giving the Vernon Vipers a 3-2 double overtime victory over the Surrey Eagles in front of 1,755 at the Civic Arena. Jon Olthuis made 45 saves in the win, while Michael-Lee Teslak made 40 saves in the loss in Game 3 of the BCHL League Championship Finals with the Eagles leading the series 2-1. Former Vernon Vipers defenceman Trey Taylor has been named

the Best Defensive Defenseman for the 2024-25 season.

Taylor recently finished his third season at Clarkson University, named to the ECAC Hockey's First-Team All-Conference team. Taylor was also nominated for the 2025 Hobey Baker Memorial Award. In 39 games this season, Taylor collected (9-goals-20-assists-29-points).

Taylor was invited to the Philadelphia Flyers Development Camp in July 2024.

Taylor played three seasons in Vernon with the Vipers from 2018-2021 before leaving for the United States Hockey League Youngstown Phantoms. The Phantoms selected Taylor 31st overall May 28th 2021 in Round 3 in Phase 2 of the Unites States Hockey League Draft. Taylor played the 2021-22 season with the Phantoms before joining Clarkson University in 2022. 

Taylor played three seasons in Vernon with the Vipers from 2018-2021. In 125 games with the Vipers, Taylor collected (8-goals-32-assists-40-points).
