Former Viper Seguin Commits To University Of Ottawa:

Former Vernon Vipers forward Max Seguin has committed to the 
University of Ottawa for the 2025-26 season.

Seguin played the 2024-25 season with the Spruce Grove Saints. In 54 games last season, Seguin collected (11-goals-17-assists-28-points). 

Prior to joining the Saints, Seguin played two seasons with the Alberta Junior Hockey League Bonnyville Pontiacs.

Seguin had committed to Princeton University in March 2023.

Seguin committed to the Vernon Vipers December 2nd 2021 for the 2022-23 season. Seguin went pointless in 5 preseason games with the Vernon Vipers before being released before the start of the 2022-23 regular season. Seguin joined the Alberta Junior Hockey League Bonnyville Pontiacs before the start of the 2022-23 regular season.

  1. Seguin went pointless for the Vipers in the 2022/23 pre-season and was released. He then went on to score 139 points in 167 games in the AJHL/BCHL. Pretty clear why the Vipers let him go. Ha Ha!!! We sure had some fine evaluators of talent the past 5 years, so glad we are entering the “Cooke years”. Finally someone competent who knows hockey.
