    1. Well better than giving up, at least they aren’t quitting.

  2. “Strategic rebuild”? LOL! It is now insulting to anyone who knows anything about hockey. This season is a complete disaster and Lomicky is the main reason.

  5. And that is no doubt because of the culture created by Lomicky. Disgraceful what has been done to this team!

    1. That’s because no one here knows what they are doing! Sparrow quit because he couldn’t take it anymore!
4 of the 50 some moves were from the rule change, No good coach will come here and put up with John telling him what to do everyday. Wait it gets better Tom Glen has another kid on the way

    2. There is no other son. When Jack played here I asked Tom’s wife how many kids they had, she said one son and one daughter.

  6. I still don't think the Vipers will make the playoffs. If they make the playoffs or not, at the end of the day they only have twelve wins and that isn't good enough. Changes need to be made!

  7. We were led to believe the owners had deep pockets but it is obvious they have less than Duncan did. Fire Lomicky already you cheapskates!!!

  8. There is no "strategic rebuild" going on here. Every week or so Diehard publishes a list of player movements, including commitments from prospective players. We have seen commitments to other teams for next season but nothing from any players coming to Vernon. Who would want to? We've become the last choice. Just a few years ago we had a respected owner, a great coach, and were THE destination for kids to play.

  9. You just nailed it! I give the fans and people of Vernon a ton of credit for continuing to show up for this team in spite of what the management and coach have done to destroy a once great organization. They’ve run through a ton of great young players this season who would likely never consider returning. And for what, 12 wins. Clearly the last choice at this point and that’s a shame. Going to take a real coach with freedom to do his job to turn this around. Good luck!

  10. Not a stratigic rebuild. Its a stratigic failure. The coaches have a look on there faces of failure with a body language of why bother. The season is over. The the vernon vipers play there game as though they are playing pond hockey every night. The only thing good about this season is the coffee, pizza and seeing my buds. No go vipers,No go vipers. BYE BYE. I hear the Glens might be looking to sell the team after the season is over. BYE BYE, BYE BYE.
